24 Oct Welcome Amalia, Panta Rhea’s Chief Strategy Officer!
In October 2022, we welcomed Panta Rhea’s first Chief Strategy Officer, Amalia Brindis Delgado. In this new role, Amalia will facilitate strategic design, organizational development, and partner investments such as our Resilience & Renewal grantmaking to continue deepening our commitment to intersectional social justice. She joins us most recently from Hispanics in Philanthropy where as Vice President of Strategy and Impact she spearheaded the development of new program strategies and oversaw HIP’s Migration and Power Building & Justice initiatives. Earlier in her career, Amalia was a Fulbright Scholar based in Turkey and also the co-founder of Asylum Access, an international organization fighting for the rights of refugees in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Born in Venezuela and raised in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Amalia currently lives in the Washington DC area with her husband and two young kids. Learn more about her on our website.
“It is such an honor to join an incredible staff and board of dynamic thought-leaders at Panta Rhea. I look forward to working closely with Panta Rhea’s robust community of partners in our collective commitment to intersectional justice in the U.S. and around the globe.” – Amalia
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Amalia to the Panta Rhea team. Amalia brings an appreciation of beauty and transformation—and deep expertise to our Foundation-wide strategic development as well as our ever-evolving Resilience & Renewal program. She’s already jumped in with both feet, gracefully supporting our team as we continue to grow and explore. Welcome Amalia!” – Holly Roberson, Board of Trustees Co-Chair
